Widget not showing
First, where is it missing?
- On the product page — work through the checks below.
- On collection / home / related-product cards — jump to Not showing on product cards. This is a separate setting and it is the most common cause.
Not showing on the product page
Is the app embed enabled?
The widget only shows when the Tryvio app embed is enabled in your live theme. See Activate the widget. Make sure you enabled it on the theme that’s actually published.
Is the product enabled?
The widget only appears on products you’ve enabled in Tryvio. Open Products and confirm the toggle is on for that product. See Enable per product.
Has your catalog synced?
If you just added the product, give the sync a moment, or trigger a manual sync from the Products page.
Is the product sold out?
By default, Tryvio hides the Try it on button on products where every variant is sold out. If the product is sold out and you still want the button to show, turn off Hide try-on on sold-out products on the Widget tab.
Try a hard refresh
Browsers cache storefront assets. Reload the product page with a hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R).
Not showing on product cards
The button on collection pages, the home page, related products and product blocks is controlled separately from the product page. If the product page works but the cards don’t, this is almost always why.
Check the page-type control in your theme
Open Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds → Tryvio, and find Where the button shows. Each card surface has its own control:
- Collection pages
- Home page
- Related products on a product page
- Product blocks on other pages
Each is set to Automatic out of the box, which means shown — turning Tryvio on in your theme is what turns the button on. To take a surface out, set it to Hide.
One exception to Automatic: if you previously chose specific pages inside the Tryvio app, we keep honouring that choice, so a surface you left out stays out. Setting the control to Show or Hide here overrides it — the theme always wins.
Confirm the products themselves are enabled
A card only gets a button if that product is enabled in Tryvio — the same per-product toggle as the product page. See Enable per product.
Search results never show the button
This is deliberate, not a fault. The button is not injected into search results or the predictive search dropdown.
Some themes lay cards out unusually
Tryvio finds the product image on each card automatically, but a few themes nest it in a way it can’t detect. If cards still have no button after the steps above, set Image container selector under Advanced on the same app-embed panel — or contact support and we’ll find the selector for you.
Still not showing? The app may need to reconnect to Shopify — see Reconnect the app, or contact support.
