Activate the widget
For the “Try it on” button to appear on your storefront, you need to enable the Tryvio app embed in your theme. This is a one-time, no-code step.
Open the Widget tab
In your Tryvio dashboard, open the Widget tab. At the top you’ll see whether the embed is active: “Try-on is switched on in your theme” or “Try-on is switched off in your theme”.
Enable the Tryvio app embed
Click Activate in Theme Editor. This opens your Shopify theme editor with the Tryvio app embed ready to toggle on. Switch it on and click Save.
Confirm it’s live
Back in Tryvio, the status bar turns green once the widget is detected on your storefront. If it still shows off, reload the tab — the check runs against your published theme.
Don’t see the embed? Make sure you’re editing your live (published) theme, or the theme you intend to publish. App embeds are enabled per-theme.
Next: choose where it shows
Activating the embed turns Tryvio on for product pages. The button on collection pages, the home page and related-product cards is controlled separately, in the same app-embed panel under Where the button shows — see Appearance and placement.
Most stores never change this, so their collection-page buttons stay off. If you sell from collection grids, set Collection pages to Show.
