Rate limits

Rate limits protect your try-on allowance from abuse and keep costs predictable. There is no separate Rate limits tab: the limits are part of the email unlock rules, on the Emails tab, in the Email unlock card under Unlock rules.

What you can control

  • New shopper try-ons — how many try-ons a shopper Tryvio doesn’t recognise gets.
  • Recognized shopper try-ons — the allowance for shoppers Tryvio recognises by their login or by an earlier email unlock on the same device.
  • Extra try-ons after email — extra try-ons granted when a shopper unlocks with their email (see Lead capture).
  • Reset window — how often the limits start over: 1, 6, 12 or 24 hours.
  • Unlimited try-ons (no per-shopper limit) — removes the limits and the email prompt. Not recommended: every try-on costs an AI generation, and nothing protects you from abuse.

Changes apply when you click Save in the page’s save bar.

Sensible defaults are set for you out of the box. Most stores never need to change these — adjust only if you see unusual usage.
