Complete the Look

Let shoppers see a full outfit on themselves — and add every piece to cart at a bundle discount in one tap.

How it works

After a shopper generates a try-on, Tryvio can suggest 1–2 complementary products alongside the primary item (for example, a matching bag and shoes to go with a dress). When the shopper selects the suggestion and taps Try them on together, Tryvio re-generates the try-on with the entire outfit on the same person in a single image. The result screen shows an itemised summary — each item with its price — and an Add all · save X% button (Add both · save X% for a pair) that puts every piece into the cart at the bundle discount.

Shoppers can also build the look themselves: Add or change products opens a search where they add products to their look, and Done · try the look generates it.

This counts as one try-on credit (the same as a standard single-product try-on).

Enable it

Turn on the bundle upsell

Open the Offers tab and, on the Complete the look (bundle upsell) card, turn on Enable bundle upsell. Under Bundle discount by product count, set the discount shoppers receive when they add the full outfit — each row unlocks a bigger discount once the look reaches that many products, main product included. Tryvio creates and manages the Shopify discount for you automatically.

The same card has two more switches, both on by default: Suggestions (Tryvio proposes a complementary product after a try-on) and Look builder (shoppers add or change products in their look through a search popup).

(Optional) Build outfits per product

By default, Tryvio picks the complements itself — see Complement sources. To pin specific complements, use the Outfits section of the same card: pick a Product and a Complement, then Add to outfit — up to 2 complements per product, in order. Outfits are saved the moment you add or remove one; the other settings on the card wait for Save.

Leave a slot empty to keep it on auto-resolve. Configured slots always win over the automatic fallback.

The bundle upsell is off by default: Tryvio suggests no complement and offers no bundle discount until you turn on Enable bundle upsell. The Look builder is on by default, so shoppers can build a look themselves — turn it off on the same card if you don’t want that.

How shoppers experience it

  1. Shopper generates a try-on for a product.
  2. A Complete the look card appears in the result, showing the suggested add-on(s) with their names and prices.
  3. Shopper selects the card and taps Try them on together — Tryvio generates the full outfit on the same person (one combined image).
  4. The result shows each item with its individual price, a total, and the bundle saving.
  5. Shopper taps Add all · save X% (Add both · save X% for a pair) — all items go to cart with the bundle discount applied.

Complement sources

Tryvio resolves complements in this order for each slot:

  1. Merchant-pinned — a complement you assigned in Outfits.
  2. Bought together — pairs your shoppers actually purchased together in the same Shopify order, used automatically whenever you haven’t pinned an outfit. See Suggested from your orders below.
  3. Shopify Complementary products — from Search & Discovery, if configured for the product.
  4. Categories bought together — a product from a category your shoppers often buy together with this product’s category.
  5. Best matching product — automatically from your catalog.

Up to 2 complements are shown. Items are de-duplicated (the same product never appears twice).

⚠️

Generation quality is best for accessories (eyewear, jewelry, bags). Outfits with multiple overlapping clothing layers (e.g. top + jacket + trousers) may produce less precise results. QA the look on your own products before enabling for those categories.

Suggested from your orders

Tryvio looks at your Shopify order history and finds products your customers keep buying together — even if you never grouped them into an outfit yourself. This uses the last 60 days of orders and refreshes every night, so the suggestions stay current with what’s actually selling together in your store.

You’ll find the list on the Offers tab, in the Suggested from your orders section of the Complete the look card (it shows once Enable bundle upsell is on), just above your Outfits. Each row shows two products, how many orders they were bought together in, and what share of one product’s buyers also bought the other.

Apply

Tick a suggestion (or several) and select Apply — or apply one row at a time. Applying pins the pair as an outfit in both directions: a shopper trying on either product is offered the other as the complement. If a product’s outfit slots are already full, that pair is skipped and counted separately, so you always see exactly how many were applied versus skipped.

Dismiss and Restore

Not every pair bought together makes sense as a styled outfit (a phone case and a phone, for example). Select Dismiss to hide a suggestion — it won’t show up again unless you bring it back. Use Show dismissed to review hidden pairs and Restore any you change your mind about.

Applying and dismissing take effect immediately — there’s no separate save step.

If you don’t see suggestions yet

  • “Suggestions appear after the first nightly order sync.” — Tryvio hasn’t computed pairs for your store yet. Check back after the next nightly refresh.
  • “No repeat pairs in your last 60 days of orders yet…” — your recent orders don’t show any products bought together often enough. This isn’t an error — it just means nothing to suggest yet.
  • “Tryvio needs access to your orders to suggest outfits — open the app from Shopify once to grant it.” — reopen Tryvio from your Shopify admin so Shopify can confirm order access.
  • “Reconnect Shopify to let Tryvio read your orders.” — your store’s Shopify connection needs to be refreshed; reconnect from the app.
  • “The last order sync failed — Tryvio retries every night.” — a temporary sync issue. No action needed; it will retry automatically.

Quota and credits

Each combined (“Try them on together”) generation uses 1 try-on credit, the same as a regular single-product try-on. If the generation does not deliver an image, the credit is refunded — the same refund-on-non-delivery rule that applies to all try-ons.

What it costs when it works

When the upsell actually lands — the shopper tried both products on together and bought both — that order carries an order fee of 1% of the order subtotal on every plan today. You are only charged when the outfit upsell produced a sale; the try-on itself costs a credit either way. How order fees work →
