Free trial & overage

The 14-day free trial

Every new install starts with a 14-day free trial that includes up to 100 try-ons (some launch offers extend this to 200). To start it, you pick a plan and approve it in Shopify — the plan’s monthly fee only begins after your trial days are used, so you never lose trial time by choosing your plan early.

If you use up the free try-ons before the trial ends

Busy stores sometimes use the 100 free try-ons in a day or two. When you pick your plan you’ll see a checkbox — “If I use up the 100 free try-ons before my trial ends, keep the widget on” — ticked by default. With it ticked:

  • the widget includes 100 more try-ons after the free ones are used, at no charge;
  • we ask for a phone number so we can call you the moment the free try-ons run out (and again if the extra 100 are used), instead of hoping you see an email.

Either way, the widget does not pause when the free try-ons run out. Once the free try-ons — and, if you ticked the box, the extra 100 — are used, every further try-on is billed at your plan’s per-try-on rate (for example, $0.18 on Growth), up to your plan’s overage cap, and we email you when that starts. Your plan’s monthly fee still starts on the date Shopify showed you. When it does, the try-ons you paid for during the trial come back as bonus try-ons in your first month, up to the number your plan includes.

You can also activate your plan right away from the link in that email, to switch to its full monthly allowance instead of paying per try-on — optional.

What counts as a try-on

A try-on is counted each time the AI successfully generates a result for a shopper. Failed generations are never counted.

Your allowance resets every month

Each plan includes a monthly try-on allowance (for example, 500 on Growth). Your usage counter resets at the start of every billing period — each 30-day Shopify cycle — so you get a fresh allowance automatically, without doing anything.

Overage

If you go over your plan’s monthly allowance, extra try-ons are billed at your plan’s per-try-on rate (for example, $0.18 on Growth). Overage is billed through Shopify’s usage charges and settled regularly, so there’s no single surprise bill at the end of the month. To protect you, every plan has an overage cap — the most you can be charged for overage in a single billing period:

PlanPer extra try-onOverage cap
Starter$0.22$200
Growth$0.18$300
Scale$0.14$400
Pro$0.11$500

Order fees

Beyond the plan fee and overage, orders with a Tryvio upsell carry an order fee — 1% of the order subtotal on every plan today. It is billed through Shopify alongside your overage and shares the same monthly spending cap. During the free trial order fees are shown but never charged; they start only once your paid subscription is active. How order fees work →

If you’re regularly hitting your allowance, upgrading usually lowers your total cost — higher plans include more try-ons and a lower per-try-on rate. Compare plans →
