Reference images
The image Tryvio uses for a product is the single biggest factor in try-on quality.
What makes a great reference image
- Clean product shot — the product clearly visible, ideally on a plain or simple background.
- Sharp and well-lit — avoid blurry, dark, or heavily filtered photos.
- Front or natural angle — show the product the way it’s worn.
- One product per image — avoid busy lifestyle shots with multiple items.
Choosing the image
By default Tryvio uses the product’s primary Shopify image. If a different image works better for try-on, go to Products, click Edit try-on on that product, and under Photos use Change next to Photo sent to the AI to pick another of the product’s photos. Then click Save in the page’s save bar.

Avoid images with watermarks, text overlays, or models already wearing the product — these confuse the AI and reduce result quality.
